Who are we?
Catsoft began operations in Melbourne in 1984 when two accountants realised they could program better accounting applications than
what was available on the market. Thus began the Catsoft tradition of software 'by accountants for accountants'.
Products and services we offer
Catsoft Assets - fully featured Windows platform fixed assets management system. The current Catsoft Assets version 4.04
is recommended by Attache Software for use with Attache Catapult and Business Partner;
AssetLite - a comprehensive, inexpensive, Windows environment asset register for small and medium business, as well as
accountants in public practices. The current version of AssetLite version 1.09 is very reliable and user friendly, and is recommended
by Attache for users of Attache Catapult and Business Partner;
Leasecat - a Windows based lease management application designed to provide comprehensive AAS17 / AASB1008 compliant lease
reporting from lessee or lessor perspectives on finance leases, operating leases and hire-purchases;
Ledgercat - a fully featured general ledger software solution for accountants in public practice. Ledgercat is part of the
integrated Catsoft practice accounting system and it can share and link up figures with Taxcat, Catsoft's ELS tax application software;
Taxcat - a comprehensive tax software solution for registered tax agents, providing a detailed recording system, tax
calculation estimates, complete printed tax returns, plus an ELS module allowing agents to lodge returns electronically via a
virtual private network over the internet;
Timecat - a simple comprehensive, inexpensive, Windows based time billing system for small and medium accountants in
public practices;
Business software setup and consulting - we provide assistance to accountants and organisations to convert and import data
into our applications;
