Dynalink RTA 1320

Checking for the firmware version on RTA1320

  1. Open your browser and enter 192.168.1.1 in your address bar
  2. Enter the username and password of your router. By default it will be Username: "admin" and Password: "admin" or if you have changed this, please enter the new username and password
  3. Click on 'Status' at the top
  4. The 'Firmware Version' will indicate the software version you have installed. It is recommend that your router holds the latest firmware. Please check to see if you have the latest firmware. The manufacturer can help with this if you need to upgrade
  5. Please Note: TPG will endeavour to always have the most current set up instructions that reflects the latest firmware. Please always refer to the manufacturers website for the most current firmware updates

Configure IPTV on Dynalink RTA1320

  1. Open your browser and enter 192.168.1.1 in your address bar
  2. Enter the username and password of your router. By default it will be Username: "admin" and Password: "admin" or if you have changed this, please enter the new username and password
  3. Click 'Advanced' at the top then under 'Internet' click on 'IGMP Proxy' in the left hand menu.The 'IGMP Proxy Enabled' checkbox should already be ticked. If it is unticked, tick the box and click on 'Apply'
  4. Click on 'Advanced' at the top, then under 'Internet', click on 'Connections' in the left hand menu

  5. Click on the 'Add'
  6. In the V'PI' field type "0"

    In the 'VCI' field type "35"

    For the 'Service Category select 'UBR Without PCR'

    Click Next
  7. Select Bridging

    Encapsulation Type: LLC/SNAP

    Untick 'QoS' and 'Enable 802.1Q VLAN Tagging'

    Click Next
  8. Select 'None' and click Next

  9. Click Apply

  10. Click 'Finish'

  11. Your router will now save settings and reboot

To edit/check the settings of IPTV on Dynalink RTA1320

  1. Open your browser and enter 192.168.1.1 in your address bar
  2. Enter the username and password of your router. By default it will be Username: "admin" and Password: "admin" or if you have changed this, please enter the new username and password
  3. Click 'Advanced' at the top then under 'Internet' click on 'IGMP Proxy' in the left hand menu. The 'IGMP Proxy Enabled' checkbox should already be ticked. If it is unticked, tick the box and click on 'Apply'
  4. Click on 'Advanced' at the top, then under 'Internet', click on 'Connections' in the left hand menu
  5. For the PVC Name "br_0_35", under the 'Edit' column click on the red edit icon (picture of a pencil)
  6. Check the following settings:

    a. In the V'PI' field ensure it says "0"

    b. In the 'VCI' field ensure it says "35"

    c. For the 'Service Category ensure 'UBR Without PCR' is selected

    Click Next

  7. Ensure 'Bridging' Protocol is selected

    Encapsulation Type: LLC/SNAP

    'QoS' and 'Enable 802.1Q VLAN Tagging' should be both unticked

    Click Next

  8. Ensure 'None' is selected Click Next

  9. Click Apply

  10. Click 'Finish'

  11. Your router will now save and reboot

To delete the IPTV profile from Dynalink RTA1320
Please Note: This will not effect your Internet connection

  1. Open your browser and enter 192.168.1.1 in your address bar
  2. Enter the username and password of your router. By default it will be Username: "admin" and Password: "admin" or if you have changed this, please enter the new username and password
  3. Click on 'Advanced' at the top, then under 'Internet', click on 'Connections' in the left hand menu
  4. For the PVC Name "br_0_35", under the 'Edit' column click on the trash can icon
  5. Click on 'OK' when prompted for confirmation

  6. Click on 'Finish' and your router will now save the settings and reboot
