International Roaming Rates


International Roaming
International Roaming allows you to use selected services while overseas with your mobile phone using your existing mobile phone number. The services available are dependant on the country you are roaming in.

Activating International Roaming


You must activate international roaming via "Your Account" before going overseas. At the time of activation, you will be charged a maximum of $500 to increase your Mobile Prepayment Outside Included Value (this means your existing Mobile Prepayment Outside Included Value will be increased to $500 to get international roaming kicked off).


Please understand whenever your Mobile Prepayment Outside Included Value drops below $100, TPG will automatically top up your Mobile Prepayment Outside Included Value to $500. It is important you understand that we will restore your Mobile Prepayment Outside Included Value whenever your Mobile Prepayment Outside Included Value reaches $100.


The unused Mobile Prepayment Outside Included Value minus $20 (kept as Mobile Prepayment Outside Included Value) will be credited back to your account 30 days after you have deactivated International Roaming (which again can be done via “Your Account”). This is to ensure we have received all of your call records from overseas carriers.

All rates listed as in $AUD. GST does not apply to international roaming charges (with the exception of the standard SMS, MMS, international SMS and international MMS rates).
