Naked ADSL2+ Change of Plan

What is a change of plan?
A change of plan can be an upgrade or downgrade to your current Naked ADSL2+ plan.


How do I change my plan?
Simply follow the steps below:

  • Log into 'Your Account' via TPG homepage using your TPG Username and Password.
  • Under 'ADSL Account Management', click 'Change of Plan'.
  • You will be presented with the steps you have to complete, click 'Start Change of Plan' to begin your change of plan process.

It may take 1-3 working days for change of plan to be in effect.


What is an upgrade?
An upgrade is when you change your Naked ADSL2+ plan to another Naked ADSL2+ plan with equal or greater monthly charge.

For example:
 Current Plan  Monthly Charge
 Naked ADSL2+ 200GB  $59.99
   
 Upgrade Plan  Monthly Charge
 Naked ADSL2+ Unlimited  $69.99

Upgrading your plan is always free of charge regardless of your contract status.


What is a downgrade?
A downgrade is when you change your Naked ADSL2+ plan to another Naked ADSL2+ plan with lower monthly charge.

For example:
 Current Plan  Monthly Charge
 Naked ADSL2+ 200GB  $59.99
   
 Downgrade Plan  Monthly Charge
 Naked ADSL2+ 50GB  $49.99

You will be charged $59 for plan downgrade if you are inside of your current contract term. Downgrade is free of charge if you are outside of your contract; however you can only downgrade once every 6 months, otherwise an additional $90 fee will apply.


Will change of plan alter my billing dates?
Your monthly billing cycle will restart with the new monthly charge (if applicable) when change of plan takes into effect. Any unused portion of your old billing cycle will be credited to you to be used for future payments.


Can I switch from Naked ADSL2+ to standard ADSL2+?
Yes. This process requires you to cancel your existing Naked ADSL2+ service, apply for a telephone line on the Telstra network, and then apply for a new ADSL2+ connection installation (setup fee applies). This will take approximately 3-5 working days assuming all details and conditions have been agreed and confirmed. Cancellation fee will also apply if you are still currently in contract. Can I switch from Naked ADSL2+ to ADSL2+ with Home Phone Bundle?
Yes you can. Please note that this is a complicated process and may take 10-20 working days to complete during which you will have no Internet access. This change of plan process requires us to cancel your existing account and create a new one which means you will have a new TPG username (existing TPG username can still be kept as an email alias).
