Other Mobile Features

Note: This guide is applicable for customers who signed up after 30 September 2015 or customers who have migrated to TPG Mobile service on the Vodafone network. This guide is not applicable to TPG Mobile service on the Optus network.

Data


Enabling Data will allow you to access the Internet using your mobile phone. This feature is enabled by default.

You can disable or enable this feature online via My Account.

Bar All Outgoing Calls


Enabling this feature will block all outgoing calls from your TPG Mobile (i.e. you will not be able to make any calls from your mobile phone).

Bar Outgoing International Calls


Disabling this service will block all outgoing international calls from your TPG Mobile (i.e. you will not be able to make international calls from your mobile phone).

Sending SMS


Sending SMS is enabled by default. Disabling this service will block your mobile phone from sending any SMS.

Receiving SMS


Receiving SMS is enabled by default. Disabling this service will block your mobile phone from receiving any SMS.

Call Catcher


Call Catcher is an alternative service to Voicemail. This feature gives callers the option to send their contact number to you via an SMS message when a call goes unanswered. This feature is a free service.

Activate Call Catcher from your phone
Step 1. Dial 121600 (free call)
Step 2. When prompted, select option 3 to activate Call Catcher.

Deactivate Call Catcher from your phone
Step 1. Dial 121600 (free call)
Step 2. Stay on the line, and when prompted, select option 2 to deactivate Call Catcher
Step 3. After confirming that the feature is off, the call will hang up. Your phone will now ring out if you don't answer a call.

Mobile Premium Services


Mobile Premium Services is not available on TPG Mobile service.

Call Hold/Call Waiting


This feature allows you to receive incoming calls even when you are on another call. You have the option to answer the incoming call and put your current call on hold or reject the incoming call.

If you have answered the second call, you can switch between the two calls or merge them together to form a conference call.

Setting up Call Hold/Call Waiting on iPhone

Step 1. Press Settings



Step 2. Press Phone



Step 3. Press Call Waiting



Step 4. Press the indicator to turn the function on or off



Setting up Call Hold/Call Waiting on Android

Step 1. Press Phone



Step 2. Press MORE



Step 3. Press Settings



Step 4. Press More settings or Call settings



Step 5. Press the indicator next to Call waiting to turn the function on or off



International Roaming


International Roaming allows you to use your TPG Mobile service whilst overseas. For more details please click here. This feature is disabled by default.

Video Call


National and International Video Call feature is always enabled. You will need a mobile phone that supports video call to use this feature.
