Setting up TPG Email in Mac Mail


STEP 1: Go to Mail, and then click Preferences



STEP 2: Under Accounts tab, click the plus (+) button on the bottom left part of the window



STEP 3: Fill in the following fields.

Account Type: POP
Account Description: POP Account
Full Name: Your full name
Email Address: Your TPG Email address (TPGUsername@tpg.com.au)

And then click Continue.



STEP 4: Fill in the following fields.

Incoming Mail Server: mail.tpg.com.au
User Name: Your TPG Username
Password: Your TPG Password

And then click Continue



STEP 5: Select Password for Authentication, and then click Continue.



STEP 6: Fill in the following fields.

Outgoing Mail Server: mail.tpg.com.au

Tick Use Authentication, and fill in the User Name and Password using your TPG Username and Password respectively. Click Continue.



STEP 7: Make sure Use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) remains unticked, and then click Continue.



STEP 8: Verify that all the information are correct as outlined in the previous steps, and then click Continue.



STEP 9: That's it! Click Done to complete Email setup.
