Setting up TPG Email in Microsoft Outlook 2010


Starting up Microsoft Outlook 2010 for the first Time

If this is the first time you are setting up Microsoft Outlook 2007, the following screen will appear:

STEP 1: Click Next to start Outlook 2010 Startup Wizard.



STEP 2: Select Yes, and then click Next.



STEP 3: Select Manually configure server settings or additional server types, and then click Next.



STEP 4: Select Internet Email, and then click Next.



STEP 5: Fill in the following fields.

User Information
Your Name: Normally your first name and your last name
E-mail Address: Your TPG Email address ([email protected])

Server Information
Account Type: POP3
Incoming mail server: mail.tpg.com.au
Outgoing mail server (SMTP): mail.tpg.com.au

Logon Information
Username: Your TPG Username
Password: Your TPG Password
You can have the option to remember the password by placing a tick on the Remember password box.

After filling in the above information, click Next.



STEP 6: That's it! Click Finish to complete your TPG Email setup.



Adding TPG Email to an Existing Outlook 2010 Setup

If you have already setup an email account on Outlook 2010 and you wish to add a TPG email account, just go to File and click Add Account.
This will then bring you to STEP 3 above.
