  • Dual band network - 96% population coverage
  • 3G single band network - 80% population coverage
  • 2G Network - 96% population coverage

Dual Band (2100MHz/900MHz)

Being able to connect with 3G and 2G technologies using your mobile phone with fast speeds using 3G technology or just by simply making calls and sending SMS, the Dual band network offers a wide variety of services such as wireless broadband, internet browsing. With the right mobile phone the World is at your finger tips.

3G Network (Single Band 2100MHz)

More than just your standard mobile service, the 3G Network also allows users to do things such as wireless broadband, internet browsing, checking emails, downloading songs from third party websites. The 3G network covers 80% of the Australian population, making it ideal for users who live in major metropolitan areas of Australia.


When outside the 3G coverage areas, users can still access the 2G Network to send and receive voice and sms messages.

2G Network (Single Band 900MHz)

This Network is great for people who just want to be able to make and receive calls and sms messages. The 2G network covers 96% of the Australian population, making it ideal for users who live or travel to regional areas of Australia.

About 3G with TPG

TPG supports 3G speeds within 3G coverage areas (as mentioned above). Please note the TPG does not support 3G enhanced services such as Video Calling, Presence, Instant Messaging and other 3G services. When we say 3G we mean fast wireless internet downloads.
